Water Purification Plant Manufacturer

SHREE ENGINEERING manufactures advanced Water Purification Plants that deliver safe, clean, and high-quality water for industrial, commercial, and institutional applications.

What is a Water Purification Plant?

A Water Purification Plant is a system used to eliminate the physical, chemical, and biological impurities of water to make it safe for use in industries, commercial, and domestic settings. However, untreated water can also have excessive TDS, suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, dissolved minerals, and bad odours and taste, which can have an impact on production methods, equipment, and health.

Depending on the quality of the source water, there can be various water purification technologies that are combined in an integrated purification system: filtration, reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, UV disinfection, and demineralization. The suspended particles are removed by filtration, the dissolved impurities are removed by purification, and the harmful microorganisms are removed by the disinfection process.

The principle of the UF technology is to pass the water through a semi-permeable membrane having microscopic pores that are about 0.01 micron. The small pores permit clean water to pass through, but block contaminants like suspended solids, microorganisms, and turbidity. In contrast, a UF Plant cannot remove dissolved salts or minerals, so is appropriate for applications where the mineral content does not need to be removed.

Ultrafiltration Plant is often used as the pre-treatment process before an RO Plant. UF systems filter out larger impurities and biological contaminants, preventing RO membranes from fouling, enhancing filtration efficiency, and increasing the lifespan of membranes.

Our Water Purification Plant Solutions

Based on the different requirements of industrial water treatments, SHREE ENGINEERING produces customized DM Plants.

RO Plant

Extracts dissolved salts, heavy metals, and high TDS with the help of reverse osmosis technology. Suitable for industrial process water, commercial water applications, and drinking water where high-purity water is needed.

DM Plant

Generates demineralized water by demineralizing the dissolved minerals using ion exchange technology. Appropriate for power plants, pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, and boiler feed water systems.

UF Plant

Filters out suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, and colloidal particles by using membrane filtration. Usually used for pretreatment prior to RO and industrial water filtration.

UV Purifier

Purifies water from bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms by using UV-C light in the absence of chemical additives. Usually installed post-RO or filtration systems for final water sterilization.

Why is a Water Purification Plant Required?

Equipment life may be shortened, and the quality of production may be compromised due to poor-quality water with high TDS, hardness, suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, odour, and unpleasant taste. The Customised Water Purification Plants are able to remove these contaminants effectively, enhance water quality, lower maintenance expenses, and meet the industrial and drinking water standards.

Water Purification Process

Pre-Filtration
Sediments, suspended particles, and larger impurities are removed prior to advanced treatment.
Water Treatment
Technologies such as RO, UF, or DM can be used to remove dissolved minerals and contaminants based on water quality.
Purification & Disinfection
UV or other treatment makes bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms disappear.
Purified Water Storage
Treated water is safely stored for ongoing industrial/commercial use.

Types of Water Purification Technologies

01
Reverse Osmosis (RO)
Effective in the removal of high TDS, dissolved salts, and heavy metals.
02
Ultrafiltration (UF)
Removes suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, and colloidal particles.
03
UV Purification
Disinfects microorganisms without using chemicals.
04
Demineralization (DM)
Generates mineral-free water through ion exchange technology, for industrial uses.
